My Story

Shakera "Creatress" Laguer,  A Fort Worth, TX native, graduated from Trimble Technical High School and began her journey at Howard University, Washington D.C., in 2010. Determined to find the antidote to the illnesses and trauma she witnessed as a child, she took up a major in Chemistry with a focus in Pharmacy and Health Science Technology. While on Howard University’s campus, she found herself nurtured by an environment that boldly questioned everything she believed about herself, her spiritual background, her relationships, and the world around her. After receiving a divine calling to nontraditional ministry, she transitioned into the “Illustrious” John H. Johnson School of Communications.

This transition led her on a personal and deeply immersive quest. Although raised as a Baptist Christian, as a part of her journey she has had impactful experiences among several spiritual communities and peoples including The Ausar Asset Community, The Nahziryah Monastic Community, The Lakota Indigenous American Tribe, Several African Spiritual Communities, The Nation of Islam, The Hare Krishna Community, and the Science of Mind Community. Coach Creatress received her first initiation into the Tradition of Tibetan Usui Reiki in the Fall of 2013 and her first Self-Mastery Advanced Life Coaching Certification in the Fall of 2017. Overall her experiences have taught her that regardless of creed, color, or background, our unmanaged thoughts, unquestioned belief systems, and repressed emotions can create disease and blockages in our bodies, interpersonal, professional, and spiritual relationships, dismantling our ability to manifest our highest intentions.

Through her work as a Healer and Spiritual Life coach, Coach Creatress guides her clients and students to increase their Personal Mastery, Spiritual Awareness, Connection, and Co-Creative Power by equipping them with tools for the lifelong journey of Self-Love, Self-Care, and Self-Parenting. As a result of her Reiki and Spiritual Life Coaching services, her clients have redirected their power and reclaimed their lives from deep generational, or childhood trauma, self-sabotage, and dysfunctional behavioral and emotional patterns. All of  Creatress’ clients have gone forward to empower themselves beyond unconscious limitations and manifest their highest personal, professional, and spiritual goals.
